Still Worried this Winter?
At Clacks CAB, we are continuing to offer a range of support regarding energy bills and entitlements.
Our current Energy Best Deal project aims to support those struggling to afford their energy costs over the colder months. Alongside energy advice, clients are given information on how to maximise their income. Through the project, we are able to offer energy sessions for consumers/frontline workers within Clackmannanshire. During these sessions, a range of topics are discussed including energy efficiency measures, benefit entitlement, energy saving tips, priority services register and more!
In addition, our Safe and Warm project provides support to help individuals use energy in a safe, affordable and efficient manner. The project also aims to support consumers in vulnerable situations and address carbon monoxide (CO) safety issues. Energy advice is provided both as group sessions and as individual support. Group sessions can be delivered to both consumers and to frontline workers. The service also aims to provide holistic advice and support and signpost clients to specialist advisers in the CAB for support with issues other than energy. In particular, to maximise their incomes.
The Bureau is also continuing to participate in the Citizens Advice Scotland led 'Worried this Winter?' campaign. Check out our Facebook and Twitter to keep up to date with the campaign.
If you would like support through either projects or would like to arrange an energy session for your group, please get in touch with our Bureau.
In addition, we are also providing energy advice at one of our many Outreach Locations in Clackmannanshire.
